GTAW process

The GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) service, also known as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), is a welding process that uses an electric arc between a non-consumable tungsten electrode and the base material. This method stands out for its precision and versatility, being appropriate for welding non-ferrous metals and delicate alloys.

During the GTAW process, an inert gas, such as argon or helium, is used to protect the weld from atmospheric contamination. This method is prized for its ability to produce high-quality welds, with a controlled arc that allows for precise fusion of materials. GTAW is commonly used in applications requiring high aesthetic quality and in situations where precise, high-integrity joints are needed.
