GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), commonly known as MIG welding, is one of the most versatile and productive arc welding processes for structural and industrial applications. Using a continuous solid wire electrode and shielding gas, GMAW delivers high deposition rates, clean weld appearance and consistent arc stability, making it a preferred choice for shop fabrication, structural steel and industrial components across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

At CPW Contracting, GMAW / MIG welding is performed by qualified welders under approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), with QA/QC documentation available for project-specific requirements. Work is completed in accordance with applicable CSA W59 and CWB W47.1 requirements for structural steel scopes.
