The SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) process is one of the most widely used methods for field welding services and industrial welding Vancouver, particularly in demanding site conditions. Using a coated electrode, SMAW welding creates a stable arc that melts and joins metals while the electrode coating provides shielding gas and slag to protect the weld from atmospheric contamination.
